Wow! Three fabulous packages in a row!  That tiny bag (can you imagine sewing a zipper into anything that small? Shocked) is great enough on its own, but the witchy shadowbox is brilliant. I especially love the tiny Ouija board!

And Maman, I love everything you made, but especially the Horned God candle. And I'm surprised it's taken you this long to try embroidery - I can see it's going to be another thing you're a natural at!

PerfectlyBohemian, your Polaroid camera literally made me gasp!

I came home to this lovely little apple tree from amc-!

One of the things I like most about this swap is the huge range of styles that people are getting from plain old felt. From sweet, simple images like this to elaborately embroidered pictures, and all of them wonderful. I'm sad I don't have any more to come, but at least there'll be lots more in the Gallery.

So....are we doing a separate Litha swap? Or would we do a midsummer swap as suggested? Takers?

To me Litha is midsummer, but do you mean actually somewhere in the middle of summer, like the beginning of July? It does sound like there's very active interest in a Litha swap in addition to the BOS. I like the idea of a so-small-it-fits-in-an-envelope swap, though it seems from the Felt Badge Swap that I'm in unless it's a papercraft swap, Craftster still requires a DC# even if it's an envelope. Within Canada that's pricey, but there seems to be a good workaround in the US.

There should be a thread where we can all post pics of just messes we've made crafting. I'd be fascinated  Shocked

That's a brilliant idea - and even better if it includes "after" pictures like microjivvy's. (How did you do that, anyway? If that had been my workbench - and I thought it was for a moment - it'd stay that way for months!) And Knickertwist, please DO get D. to take a photo of you sitting on the floor in the middle of your room-sized mess next time it gets really good. I bet it's amazing to see!

I'd have been thrilled to have anyone in this swap as a partner, but even more so that it's Cackle herself! Grin I'm a big fan!

Now the excitement begins.

I came home this afternoon to find a package from Sewphie. After reading the card in which she apologized for it being too big, and if I was hoping for a smaller badge she'd be happy to make me another one, I opened the little package and found... this!

I was scarcely able to breath when I saw it! It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen -- you got right inside my head with this! The photo shows the wonderful detail of the embroidery (just look at the mandibles on the longhorn beetle! And the segments of all the legs! Shocked) but loses the lovely sheen of the beetle wings and the subtlety of the woodgrain.

I think I'm going to put it in a little frame under glass, and hang it on the wall right beside a case of real insects I have.

Thanks so much for this, Sophie. I couldn't possibly love anything more. And NO, it isn't too big! Cheesy

I'll say right now I intend to stuff my matchbox with goodies, because I have so much stuff to get rid of. (I know you never really end up with less that way, but I cherish my illusion.)

I'm here - thanks for the poke, Racky! Sending in my questionnaire now.

I have a pinterest but I can only pin off of other peoples pins. I can't get my pin button to work on google or any other sight. I even have people I'm following that I don't know how they got there. LOL  I'm just going with it.

One of the things Pinterest does when you sign up is to start you up with followers - people whose interests it guesses might match yours. It also adds all of your Facebook friends who are already on Pinterest. I just un-followed most of them immediately.

The "pin-it" button, though, only seems to be designed to work on Firefox. I don't know what you're supposed to do if you use Explorer.

My new Pinterest is http://pinterest.com/wulfslash2/

It's the perfect Girl Scout badge for the girls who's troop disbanded before she could get all the badges she wanted.

What a tragic one-line story!

Suereal, your tiny cookies look so edible! But am I seeing things, or do you have printed felt? Shocked
