Okay, I've sent in my questionnaire before I go and forget. I'll be out of town from the 28th of May to June 8, so I may have trouble staying in communication during that time.

Just have to do some colour-correction - somehow ended up with a lot of gingerbread brown. Tongue But the mechanics seem to be working. Getting close to stuffing full of goodies and mailing. Maybe tomorrow.

Oooh!  Anyone who can make googly eyes creepy gets extra bonus points! Love the Ent, too. Fairies seem to be getting a pretty rough ride this round, don't they?

I love the poem too, it reminds me of Shel Silverstein. Great work.

Yes! I knew it seemed familiar somehow, and that's it! I think you're too modest about your "nonsense poem", Knicky. It's very good. And I've actually seen one of these lil' mushrooms up close, and they're uncannily lifelike.

I love the dandelions too. Our province banned the use of herbicides on lawns a decade ago, and the city has stopped mowing except in parks, now all the grass between roadways, etc. are covered in golden dandelions for a few days each spring, followed by clover and other flowering plants. So much better than just flat grass. And a bonus for the bees, too.

A lovely day here too - it must be everywhere. (Except in Tasmania - sorry, Quasior!) I've been working on putting up a clothesline in our back yard (finally got the pole in the ground yesterday) and I can hardly wait to dry clothes outdoors again. Today would have been perfect!

Love the simplicity of the bug-on-leaf. "Leaves" would have been a great theme to pick - so many possibilities!

VP and Baba Yaga is something I might have to look into to!  He is an awesome story teller.
It would have been a good one to listen to with the kids (maybe the older ones) for Samhain. Winter sure comes early for you guys, doesn't it? I always forget how far south Tasmania actually is!

Vincent Price and Baba Yaga? No, I don't know that one, and it sounds like a perfect combination!

Of course I went right to Google and found it. Wonderful! Thanks for telling me about that, Radmom!

Whee! My package from Quasior arrived Friday morning just before we left for overnight in the country, so I couldn't open it until last night. I waited until today to take photos in better light, but in fact it's grey and overcast so it didn't help much. (It actually started to rain a bit as I was photographing - nothing got damaged, though.) And after a bit if struggle with Craftster - it was only letting me upload photos one at a time - here we are!

Here's the whole package (minus a nice candle, which I have already used), including a papier mach Green Man mask, a polymer clay vine altar decoration (its slightly sparkly, which you can't see in the photo), some Green Tea Latte candies (ought to be an abomination on several levels, but instead are delicious Cheesy), and two little bound books, one blank and the other the tale of Vasalissa and Baba Yaga.

A close-up of the mask.

Some pages of the Vasalissa book. I love the style Quasior's used. Two of the pages are three-page fold outs.

And here's Baba Yaga again, just because I love her so much.

Thanks, Quasior! It's great when someone nails my likes so perfectly as you did with the little book.
