This is a great tutorial! You make it look so straightforward. I especially like the fact that you stitched the signatures properly - I would never have thought of that for such a tiny book.

I like everything about this cap!

I like the suggestion of consulting with our co-partners to make sure we're not overlapping. But I have to say to my two (the best partners ever, by the way!) that what I put on my questionnaire were just three or four almost randomly-chosen words. You know me well enough from other swaps to ignore that if you want and just wing it. I know I'll love the result no matter what!

I sort of wasn't paying any attention to this swap, but when I finally looked at it today I realized it was one I had to join!

A friend of mine started a prayer flag project in Vancouver, BC last year, The Kindness Flag project.

Wow, that must be a record for slow Canadian mail - I sent it three weeks ago! Glad it finally arrived, though.

Hawkeyes_girl dropped a hint in an earlier message about something she'd like to receive, and I thought "Oh, that's totally something I can make." But I've been looking through my books and online for a how-to, and there's absolutely nothing out there. Suddenly, what seemed like an easy, fun thing begins to look
like actual WORK. But on the upside, if I work out the plans, I could do my own tutorial.
I realized last night I hadn't looked for plans in all my books, and sure enough, there it was in one of the books I'd overlooked. Now I have to decide if I have the materials, tools and skill to actually do it. Maybe I'll start with a cardboard-and-hot-glue mock up tomorrow and see how that goes.

Hey,Fullmoon! Yes, do join the next round - we miss you!

Lexy, I hope your grandma will be all right. It is often difficult to get the loved ones to see the doctor, isn't it?

Sheeshakaye, I love the fact that we both went straight for the "cowgirl" theme!

The "Bride of Frankenstein" is the cutest thing ever. But why are there two of them?

Is that the first double-sided one we've seen? Very cool!

Ohhh... so tempting. Space is limited though, and I have been in two in a row... should I let someone else in? No, don't be ridiculous, it's every crafter for themself! But should I take on another major, potentially anxiety-inducing swap right now? The answer to that question is always "yes". Why even bother to ask?

I think I have to give myself a serious talking-to about this.
