Resizing is one of the quickest and cheapest things to make you feel like you have a new top Cheesy Looks really smooth, what sort of stitch is that? I've been using a zig-zag stitch for some of my resizings I'm finding it pulls on stretchy tops...

This is really cool, and it looks so professional! I've linked my non-crafty friend to it so he can fawn over it Cheesy

Oooh, I love it!  I'm also pretty lazy when it comes to detailing on clothes, but I always see so many things in shops and I don't buy them because I think "oh hey, I could make that for less at home".  Glad to know that someone else has the same thought but actually does something about it Wink

Shocked I love this so much that I don't think it's possible for me TO love it anymore!

Okydoke, thank you for the tips Smiley  I think I'll try the colour-safe bleach first to see what sort've result I get.

Such a good idea, stops the same headband getting boring.  Kudos!  Grin
20  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Tainted t-shirt help! on: March 02, 2010 12:45:23 PM
Hi guys Smiley

I have a problem with a t-shirt... well, I guess a bunch of my t-shirts really.  I accidentally put a load of light-coloured tops in the wash with some black jeans that ran and turned everything dirty grey (or dirty greeny-grey in the case of a yellow top) Sad  I was just wondering if there was an easy way of getting rid of this awful colouring, or changing it to be more bareable?  It makes it even more awkward because I wanted to recon a bunch of them!  Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
