Sorry to both you all again. I love Adriafil's patterns, but have a lot of trouble reading them.
Here is the instructions for the front of the "White Lady Pullover" (it's on this page: http://www.adriafil.com/index.html?id_pagina=3&id_lingua=2&id_rubrica=1&id_rivista=31&page=3
, and I think the specific URL is http://www.adriafil.com/html/img/riviste/mag31/modelli/file_istruzioni/uk/28.pdf
So here's goes how they describe the front:
"Cast on 32 (30-34) sts. and work in stock st. At the same time,
to shape the sides incr. at sides, inside 1 st., 1 st. every 2 rows
(work 1 inserted incr. = k1 in back loop in thread between the worked stitch and the next st.); when work measures16 cms. dec. at sides, inside
1 st., 1 st. every 2 rows; cont. incrs. and decs. until instructions change
. When work measures 31 (30-32) cms. (measured on the side), work in the armholes to match back and, at the same time, stand off the decs. When work measures 44 (42-46) cms. (measured from starting side), and, with 52 (50-54) sts on the needle, stand off
the incrs. as well.
When work measures 55 (53-57) cms. (measured from starting side), to shape the neckline bind off the 8 middle sts. and finish the two parts separately; bind off again centrewise, every 2 rows, 4 sts., 2 sts.3 times. When work measures 5,5 cms. from beg. of neckline, shape the shoulders to match back."
The parts that confuse me are in italics. What is inside 1 st? What do they mean to continue increasing and decreasing until instructions change? Inc and dec what??? And when do the instructions change. Also, what is "stand off the incrs as well"?
Anyone have any idea? I think I have the perfect yarn for this sweater if I can only figure out what they are saying!
