I designed this wallet/checkbook organizer because there are days that my teen age son has obsconded my debit card and I wouldn't know I don't have it until I get to the checkout counter. That's when I have to rummage through my purse to find plan b - the checkbook (because I hardly use it). The search isn't over because now I have to find my pen and of course, they want to see my driver's license. Even using my debit card, they from time to time ask for my driver's license.
Because my sisters and friends loved this design so much I also made a few extras:
This was made with Taco Bell and purple newspaper sleeve plastic yarn:
This was made with Home Depot and S&S Food Stores plastic yarn:
This was made with Dollar General and Lowe's plastic yarn
I also use this as a clutch for the quick trip into the store. I designed the side seam to let me stuff it full with my comb, cell phone, checkbook, business cards, debit/credit cards, etc. And because I don't want to have to worry about popping a button, snap or zipper, I designed it with a wraparound band so I can close it without worry about anything falling out. I put a flower on the front flap because flowers are in right now.
Thanks for letting me share.
