3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: My DIY Wedding Dress (picture hea---vy) on: May 18, 2009 08:31:37 PM
The dress is so beautiful, you have made a timeless piece.  I hope every one knew you made it yourself, because there is no way they would know it wasn't professional.  Congrats on a beautiful dress, and a beautiful you to put in it!  Oh and congrats on getting married, my hubby and I just celebrated 12 wonderful years.
4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Lawrence The Lamb- My Husband's First EVER Crochet Project on: May 16, 2009 07:21:03 AM
Leave it to husbands!  My hubby is the same way, he has never actually sewed, knit, or Crocheted, however he could probably do them better than I.
Your husband did a fantastic job...you should see the 7 inch bear I recently tried to make...I told my niece it is a one of a kind as it is so lopsided lol.  I haven't been crocheing for too long, however my first project wasn't near as good as your hubbys.  Way to go, and happy crochet bliss with your love!

These dresses are so adorable, as is your daugher!  I make a summer dress for each of my 2 daughters every summer.  I would love to make more, but after two facings, I just can't take it for another year lol.
