It does have a drop in bobbin. The sales people were not much help at all. I really wasn't expecting them to be. Ive figuered the machine out for myself.  My experience with sears was good because i didn't run into any real problems.  Good luck with finding a machine for yourself Wink. Id like other peep's to share what they think of Jemone machines as a brand.

Ive had only a wonderful experience buying a Janome 4052 through Sears. You' re not going to find a Janome there for under $200. I love the machine. Once you get the hang of it's really easy to use and it has tons of stitches. The owners manual is kinda a pain in the butt to understand though.

Orangeurchin is it a automatic buttonhole foot?
Is the machine a newer model? Im a proud new owner of a Jemone 4052. Im really not sure if i can be any help. I do have my owners manual..........
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Wanted good fabric paint on: January 24, 2005 10:27:06 PM
1. Im looking to buy a good brand of fabric paint. I will be using it mostly on cotton. A wide range of colors is a must. I know my local Joann fabric has one called tulip. Id really rather shop at a local small art shop. Does anyone have any experience with a brand called speedball?

2. My mom has a bunch of polyester/cotton thread from about the early to mid eighties (it says New in big red Letters on it), im wondering if it's still strong and worth using. It seems just peachy.

Stone Mountain Daughter (Shattuck Ave in Berkeley) is one of the most wonderful fabric stores in existence. They have a wonderful selection of fine fabrics and accessories. My mom has been shopping there since they opened in 1981. Independent Crafts stores seem to be disapearing left and right around here. Im really glad Mountain Daughter is still around.  Kiss
