1  How do I seal a Felted or Wool Applique? in Felting: Discussion and Questions by angelundrground on: February 20, 2011 05:38:13 PM
Hi all,
I need some help on this one. I bought this little purse with a felt applique cupcake on it at the Maker Faire last summer in NY.It is sewed on.As time goes on though the cupcake get's pilly. I have a battery operated lint shaver and it cleaned it up very nicely. All smooth again, but I am worried that if I have to keep on doing this, there will eventually be no cupcake left.

So question is, is there a way to seal the wool? I'm very very new to felting so I'm lost on this one. Any info would be helpful. I did a google and craftster search but no dice.

2  What to do With Bag Balm Tins? in What the heck can I do with THIS? by angelundrground on: November 18, 2006 01:09:30 PM
Hey all,
I have about 4 Bag Balm green tins now hanging around the house. I was thinking of decoupaging them, but then what? They are to small for a kitchen herb garden. The only plant that could maybe thrive in them are African Violets but they are not my thing.

So any suggestions would be appreciated.

P.S.-No crayon holders please!!
