15  Wooden Spool and Oven Bake Clay Rabbits in Easter by quaggy on: March 21, 2017 07:09:42 PM
For the 2017 Easter Swap I sent my partner a Carrot tree ans just had to make her some bunny ornaments.  The base is a craft thread spool that has been painted and then bits of oven back clay anchored by drilling holes into the thread spool gluing in a bit of a toothpick and attached the clay.  Pop em in the oven bake and then spray with a sealer.  Finish them off by gluing a jute hanger, small bow and some hair!

17  Easter Bunny Bunting in Easter by quaggy on: March 21, 2017 06:53:44 PM
Another project for my 2017 Easter Swap partner.  I purchased 2 strings of egg garland and then crafted The rabbits to attach.  They are made from foam cardboard covered with cardboard.  I then painted blush on their checks, and the ears and added some buttons and bows.  Using turquoise jute they were attached to the egg strings.

18  1/2 in Coiling Rope Easter Basket in Easter by quaggy on: March 21, 2017 06:41:58 PM
For the 2017 Easter Swap I made my partner a reusable basket.  Super easy.  It is made from 1/2 inch coiling rope covered with 2 1/2 inch fabric strips and sewn together with a hand needle and quilters thread.  Instead of attaching the handles, I chose to attach them with buttons so that the handle is movable and can be folded down.  I hope to make more of these in various colors and sizes.

19  Re: Stuff an Easter Basket Swap 3 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by quaggy on: March 21, 2017 04:48:43 PM
Thanks for the great photos and quick post.  here are a few action shots

Carrot tree with wooden spool rabbits.

wooden half egg  rabbit magnets
and wooden painted bunny and eggs

and the bunny egg bunting....no I did not paint the eggs just made the bunnies from burlap and project cardboard.

I think this was my favorite thing I made.  I have never made one of these before.  I used buttons on the sides to attached the handle so that it was moveable and could be laid down.  Made my hands tired as it is all hand sewn!

20  Re: Box of Sunshine Swap (SIGNUP 2017 Jan 27-Feb 4 ; MAIL BY Feb 17 2017). Gallery in The Swap Gallery by quaggy on: February 17, 2017 03:11:31 PM
My turn to show off an awesome package of spoilage from LadyBugsandBummbleBees!!!!   I was so excited to open this box as we have swapped before and I knew I was in for a fantastic sunny pick me up!

1st up everything came all wrapped up and was bursting with sunshine, it is a deary rainy day so it had a perfect arrival!

I am going to post the photo and then comment because there are so many!

A bookmark made from jelli printing!  Reading is a pastime for me and one never has enough bookmarks!

handmade cards with matching envelopes!  Looks like I gotta sign up for more swaps and send some artwork out to a few peeps!

A close up of a few!

LBBB knows I do not crochet and picked these straight off my pinterest.....for now I am going to tuck them away but have plans to put them on a painted canvas or some dish towels.  She sent me a whole bouquet!

Peace frog holographic cup!!!!  Win Win on this one!

More amazing crocheted items:  a soap saver wash bag, potholder bar of Lavender soap (my whole box is smelling good) and some crafting tape!  Love this stuff!

This made me smile so big!  I have a love for pocket letters and this one has so much to look at.  LBBB used her printing skills again to make the backgrounds.  I must say I am super impressed I have tried this but have yet to really like any I have made as well as these.   next she embellished them with stickers using some of my favorite things:
frogs, butterfly's, dragonflies and other cute little critters!  She then wrote the verse: Oh Mr, Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun, Please shine down on me!    When I flipped it over she had numbered all of her atc's , dated, titled , signed and even wrote the swap.....these alone tired me out!  Just look at all the goodies she included!

and a few close ups!

a cute stand up owl.....another of my favorite critters!

mega package of appliques fun for use on all kinds of craft items

Not 1 not 2 but 3 mini cross stitch kits.....I love to make these and add them to pocket letters

an embellished, painted wooden box that had extras wrapped inside!

The flowers inside the box are painted and have buttons for accents!  and just look at my supplies!  The wooden flat pieces are painted wood with magnets on the back!

a package of tissues....maybe now I will get around to making me a tissue holder!

a bag full of buttons......LBBB knows how I love my buttons!

a super cute mobile.....the top is painted....with a butterfly attached and ribbon connects the crochet flowers that have fabric yo-yo centers....this is so cute and creative!

I was super spoiled and I love everything!!!!  Looks like I need to vamp up the next package I send her way........wow what a great way to end a crappy week!

THANK YOU LADYBUG!!!!!
