I hope this is in the right place.
For the holiday season I have decided to do a ton of baking for everyone. Usually around this time I would only bake for a couple of people and so I generally simply put the treats in some of my tins, which are eventually returned to me. However, this year, I have decided to make a lot more and to give them as gifts.
I am not entirely sure what to use to package my goods. To give an example of what I plan to give everyone:
~ 2-3 muffins
~ 6-10 cookies (small "sandwich" cookies like Oreos but thicker, naturally)
~ 2-3 chocolate truffles
I intend to make about a dozen of these packages.
I have been looking around for boxes at the local dollar stores but I can't seem to find any of sufficient size. I have a small budget but I want the packaging to be either recyclable (paper or cardboard) or reusable. Can anyone offer any tips from previous experiences or just good logic for this?
Thank you all very much in advance!
(P.S. I am aware that they make specialized "pastry boxes" [I used to work in a bakery] but the only ones I have found for general purchase have been Martha Stewart and they're super pricy!)
