1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / hundreds of vintage ads on: January 22, 2004 06:11:04 PM
I need help like no other person has needed help before.
Well, maybe it's not that bad. Yet.
I have a problem.
I love to collect old ads. I have a collection that spans the 1930s to the 1980s.
Now. What can I do with them?
The food ads are getting modpodged onto a piece of sheet metal that will serve as a magnetic reminder board ala the one at Target. I am even taking spoon and fork drawer pulls and making them into magnets.
The ads with those great midcentury houses and interiors will become a part of an art project that is a cross between modern art and a designer's idea board.
Now, on to the rest...cars, airlines, public utilities, travel, girl-y products...
