7392  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Discussion and Questions / Re: CALL FOR ARTISTS -handspun yarn to be included in an art show run by Pluckyf on: February 07, 2010 01:43:59 PM
finished my yarn!! (okay so it needs to be set but, its spun..)   A simple squishy single spun up by my son and I.  Yup I had my 4 year old help me with it.  Grin   He spun the spindle and I let the twist flow into the fiber.   Nothing like the yarns I've seen being sent... All crazy and wonderfully beautiful and artsy...  but, it is spinning at its simplest form. And that is something that needs to be shown too.  So excited to send it off!  Cheesy
7393  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Experimenting with leftover fabric --> Top on: February 06, 2010 11:19:39 AM
me thinks you were going for a contoured bust?  If I'm right, this site is helpful: http://www.whatthecraft.com/tuts/cbust.htm  If I'm not right, well then if you ever feel like a contured bust, now you have a link to check out Wink
If you have some more fabric you can always make a second one for your self and maybe find someone smaller for that one.  It's really quite cute, and I dig the straps.
