Hey, it's Meg. I am eternally grateful for this ATC swap... whenever I am stressing, I run to my craft shelf, pull out a cereal box, cut it down to 2.5 x 3.5 , then the sky's the limit!!
I like, no, I LOVE cats of all kinds, watercolor and pastel painting, gardening, the hummingbird is my totem, I love pretty fabrics and want to collect them some day to just have stacked in a corner cabinet with a glass front so I can gaze at them and drool.
Would like not to get anything religeous or that containing nudity either partial or full.
I live in upstate New York, usa.

My list

2347  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Inchie House Swap - Gallery! on: August 22, 2013 09:44:35 AM
bushbaby made a wonderful house from Scotland, the land where I plan to retire!
I have pics in abundance but my camera broke about 10 minutes before opening the package...arg!!!!! So here are nasty pics from my camera. Bushbaby, pls repost if you have better (hope you do.)
Unassembled

Scottish tablet yumyum (well, of course it has a bite out of it!!)

Balancing act during glueing time

I will do whatever it takes to make this glorious house come out right. My left thumb does not work, so I did not get the roof perfect...

Done! Soooo bummed that you have to wait to see the awesome watercolor details (hint hint bb!!)

Think it sooo interesting that the wee wall goes only 3/4 of the way around. Artistic or realistic?

I actually sighed when I looked at all the stonework. Makes me long for the days when I was a youth in Scotland

Windows are not perfect which makes them absolutely perfect if ya know what I mean.

Thank you so much, bushbaby. I ADORE this gift!!

2349  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing ATC swap - August 2013 Gallery on: August 20, 2013 03:51:04 PM
received a few more great cards, all of which has abundant Nature in them so they are particularly loved.
From rockingbearranch, non paper..

Babsie, are these irises? There is plenty of color left in them. So pretty.

From Kallium, my all-natural challenge where the crafter uses only all natural items in the entire card.

Kelly, if you have a clearer pic, please do post. Hard to keep my hand steady to get a good one.
This is probably THE most unique item i have ever received in a swap. Backing is wood that reminds me of palm. Wee seeds make up the lines in the person, a larger different seed for mouth. Clothing appears to be pressed petals. But my fave part is the fern hair!!! I do believe this will go on my meditation shelf.
Thanks sooo much. Great job on a tough challenge.
Please detail 'ingredients' if you get a chance...

2350  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing ATC swap - July 2013 Gallery on: August 20, 2013 03:43:41 PM
Yay, received my last two for July!!
from rockingbearranch, moveables theme

This is so cool. Rockingbearranch has a definite technique for moveables that I really admire. I am not an engineer of any sort and am in awe of her construction skills, plus making it adorable! Little birdie rising off the nest.

from psyche, interpret 'snuggly'

a snuggly quilt which is just awesome because I still sleep with my own snuggly quilt from childhood. Great interpretation and sew cute with the wee stitch marks.

thank you both so much. It was a great month for ATCs!!
