261  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Choosing a pic to stencilify? on: October 14, 2004 12:51:05 AM
Hi yall, just had to chime in here. Interesting angles for stencils... I hear ya. And my holy grail of a perfect image for a stencil would be a photo of Sting during that exact moment of the "Every Breath You Take" video when his face is half shadowed. Anyone else remember that? I have galavanted all over the internet looking for that shot, to no avail. Plenty of other, more modern pics of Sting, but not that one. Alas. I may have to break down and buy a dvd with that video on there- I assume there would be some way to capture a still shot- but who the hell knows.
Just had to put in my 2 cents.  Cheesy
262  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Candy Wreath on: October 06, 2004 11:38:47 AM
I love that! It's so pretty. But it would only last a day at my house.
There's a non-edible candy wreath I want to try this x-mas. It's basically a smallish round syrofoam wreath form, which is covered with gumdrops. (you poke toothpicks into the gumdrops and then stick those all over the strofoam wreath.) But then you shellac it so it will at least last the season then stick a bow on it.

Good Job, you did there.
263  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Pregnant Halloween Costume? on: October 04, 2004 05:17:53 PM
When I was 7 months pregnant, I put on a huge quilted flannel jacket, then a big black robe, a black hood, and was an executioner. It looked funny becuase I am very, very short- but if I had been taller I may have been mistaken for a burly guy. The jacket and robe really covered up the boobage and belly. Of course I carried one of those fake axes as well. I took my little cousins trick or treating, and everyone assumed I was a very fat little friend of theirs. Good Times.
