31  HTV Gifts in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by lindyv321 on: February 11, 2017 06:52:56 AM
Is this the right place for this? I bought and received a heat press machine this week and could not wait to try it out. Luckily my neighbor asked me to make some onesies for her so this was the perfect first project. After designing the images in the silhouette software I cut out heat transfer vinyl on my silhouette machine and pressed it onto the onesies and shirt using my new heat press.

32  50 Projects More or Less...2017...Let's Create and Have Fun! in Craftalongs by lindyv321 on: February 03, 2017 01:15:47 PM
My valentines swap partner received her package yesterday so I can share the goodies I sent.

Paper hearts for a garland. They were sent flat but can be pulled apart so the are 3D

Conversation Heart hanging

A tumbler

And the card. I glued a piece of sealed laminate plastic behind the design and sandwiched little hearts between it and the note card

My Silhouette Cameo was used to create a part of each of these projects!

35  Just as Sane as Luna Lovegood in Needlework: Completed Projects by lindyv321 on: February 02, 2017 09:26:22 AM

Here's my January offerering for the Hoopla Along. The prompt was Entertain Me and I of course wanted to stitch up something from the Harry Potter universe! After a search on Pinterest I found this free Luna Lovegood pattern. I used a fusible interfacing for her spectrespecs and stitched the rest.

You can find the free pattern here

I like the stitch minders. I thought they were jewelry bits at first.

Here's my hoop for January for the Hoopla Along.

Here's my offering for the month. A Luna Lovegood hoopla from Harry Potter

It's still drying from rinsing off the traced lines so please excuse the discoloration of the white fabric! I wanted to get it posted tonight and I'm tired!

40  Quick and Easy Banana Bread in Recipes and Cooking Tips by lindyv321 on: January 29, 2017 05:17:50 PM
I had some brown bananas that needed to be made into bread. I have used a ton of different recipes to make banana bread in the past but they have all tended to be lengthy with a lot of ingredients.

I did a search on Pinterest and found this recipe which is gonna be my new go to. It was super quick and didn't call for mounds of sugar etc.
I did decide to add a 1/2 cup of coconut and one chocolate chips though and that turned out to a great decision!!

So good! Here's the recipe. http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/banana_bread/
