2  Awesomeness Forever drawing in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by funiscool on: June 14, 2008 06:26:59 PM
Here is a picture I drew when it was too cold to go outside...

I wish I really had a shirt like that... and I've got to get out of bed in a minute and go to a cafe and get a giant ppot of tea and drink it and read/draw all day I think.

I finally got around to making lovebird paper/card brooches.

The photos aren't very good I know, but I suppose you get the idea.

A panda that I cut out from paper and put into a little frame. What do you think? I can take it.

I have just completed 3 drawings and am going to do enough to have a little art show or something. What do you think? Here is one of them, the rest are at www.sarahmcneil.blogspot.com if you care to take a look, plus I have a few of my other art things there too.

6  Paper Birdy but it's art this time or something. in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by funiscool on: April 20, 2008 06:11:40 PM
Well I was making brooches like this out of card but then maybe i think that they would not last very long and it takes quite a while to make these so maybe they are better as art? This bird is called an 'indigo bunting' and it glued onto some really nice paper that i have at home. i also have another picture of it framed but i haven't put it onto my computer yet. So... what do you think? Should I continue making these as brooches or as art?

7  Knitted Rabbit Brooch in Knitting: Completed Projects by funiscool on: April 10, 2008 04:38:39 PM

Here is something i made one time when i had some small amounts of wool. what do you think? do you think anyone would buy these? do you think it is scary that he has a head but no body?  once i knit an anatomically correct heart. well not completely correct there were some veins and arteries i missed  probably. i wish i had taken a photo of it!

anyway, back to the rabbit...

Oooh, I love these. I obviously vote for a Cedar waxwing. They are my favorite bird. I have a tattoo of it on my calf. Or I would go for a painted bunting because they are so colorful and fun looking. Or an american goldfinch. I like the idea of doing peacocks and pandas. I can't wait to see what you chose.

a great suggestion...
(sorry about the image quality also, its kind of fuzzy)

Well i have been making these paper birdies. I have made quite a few different types of birdies, but now i am wondering if anyone has any ideas for other birds i can make or animals? also i just wanted to show them because they make me happy.

i haven't posted an image before, so i hope that this is how one does it...
