1  Re: One Tiny Stuffie Round 10 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by gerbilgal on: May 18, 2017 03:40:53 PM
I have received my stuffie today. An adorable little gerbil like rodent. It has the long tail so its got to be a gerbil. Plus it is white like my little Jaime that I lost recently.

The stuffie should be small able to fit inside an invisible 5x5 cube. It can be smaller than that but if you are crafting something microscopic you may want to discuss it with your partner. We will be sending ONLY the stuffie no extras UNLESS they are accessories for your stuffie.

My partner sent me a huge box of goodies for me and the gerbils. Only one item didn't make it the shipping. I took lots of pictures.

After opening....

Toys for the gerbils

Sweets for me and my bf. Never seen these peeps before.

Homemade chocolate. Yumm!!!

Bunny and towels for me. Hammocks for the gerbils. Garden sticks. That is so cool!

I think that is everything.

I received my package today. aisy made this wonderful little gerbil bed. Perfect timing. I have a little one not doing too good. This will help keep her warm. Thank you so much. This will be used for many years to come. It will be part of my senior care. A normal gerbil will destroy it. Perfect for a senior.

Stuff an Easter Basket Swap 3

No point swap. For to how much to craft, I wil leave that up to you and your partner. It can be as big or as small as you want. Communication is key.

Crafting more is acceptable and encouraged if you and your partner are both in agreement.  You will be filling an Easter basket (or some sort of nice container) with goodies. You are not required to make the basket, but can if you like (please dont expect you partner to craft a handmade basket). In addition to your crafted items you will also include some Easter treats/sweets in your basket.

I am not using points or size requirements. I am leaving that all up to you.

Details of swap:

The idea is to make one tiny craft item.  It should be physically small (miniatures are encouraged) and should be something that you can craft with a high level of skill.  Even if it is a fairly simple/easy item for you to make, please embellish or perfect it so that it best represents your skill.  (For example, if you wish to make a coin purse, I encourage you to embroider, add beading, or take other steps to make it a really special piece.)

You will receive only one partner.  You may only send that partner ONE tiny craft - "extras" are not allowed in this swap.  All items must be 4"x4" or smaller.  The idea behind this swap is to give you a simple, low-pressure craft swap that won't stress you out or cost a lot to ship.

How do you know if your idea is "tiny?"  Examples:  A coin purse is tiny; a clutch purse is not.  A pair of earrings is tiny; a necklace, earrings, and bracelet set is not.  A trinket box is tiny; a pencil box is not.  If you're not sure if your idea qualifies as "tiny," ask me!

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, SEND YOUR INFO TO THE ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND DON'T REPLY WITH IT HERE.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

What craft skills can you use to make a good quality tiny item:

What craft skills would you like your tiny item to be made with:

What kind of tiny thing would you like to receive? (this is just a guideline):

What are your favorite colors / motifs / styles:

Do you have any allergies?

Do you smoke or have pets in your household?

What else would you like to tell your partner?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A few other things to follow:

1.   Please post on this thread. A simple I'm in! or whatever will suffice. This is so I'm certain you get all messages.

2.   Please put OTT 24 in the subject line of all PM's - don't send me a PM with no subject as I might miss it!

3.   Remember send only ONE tiny item, no extras!  It will be noted in your feedback if you don't follow
     the 'rule' and send extras

4.   I'm hoping that no one will send late but, if closer to send out date, you know you are going to be late, you
MUST inform me and your partner.

First to post pictures. Cool. My partner made some wonderful cool stuff for me and the gerbils.

First off this wonderful sign for the gerbil room. It is already mounted.

She made me this hammock for my gerbil Connor. He loves hammocks.

chain-o-tubes. the kids are going to love these. Simple toys are always best for gerbils.

And a bag of nutty goodness for the kids.

Thank you so much! The kids are going have a wonderful Christmas.
