does anyone know a site where I can figure out how to make graph an idea for a pattern? I can't release all the information cause it's for a swap and I might have a stalker, but any help would be most grateful.
P.S. I'm a lefty, so I don't know if that'll make a difference....
Made this in ceramics this year! I'm super duper proud of it! I did all the carvings on it and I think it turned out excellent. It was glazed in celadon which is supposed to be a clearish and the others are embellished with boston brown. On with the pictures!
I didn't make these, but my aunt in Vietnam did. They're really neat. She folds all these pieces of paper into triangle-y things, glues, and then stacks them on each other. I thought they were super neat, so I wanted to share them with you!
So I won all this recycled silk on E-Bay and it looks fantastically beautiful! *yay* I'm really excited to make something with it! Trouble is, when I went to look for patterns for it, most of it was knit, which I can't do with any sort of expertise at all cause I just started to learn how to do it. *boo*
Any suggestions? I'd really love to make something, but I read that you need to pair it and be real careful when you use it. I'm really sorta rough on things, which saddens me cause I love delicate stuff. Any sort of input would be fantastic!
Not your traditional granny square of course! A 5 corner granny square purse birthed when I figured out that it was nearly impossible to whip stitch a bunch of these together. They didn't want to fit right so....
i had MASSIVE trouble with the lining because I FAIL at sewing but hey, at least i tried! :-P
