1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Harry Potter Doll on: October 18, 2013 11:01:35 AM
I made this little guy to test out a new pattern I had been working on and also to enter in my local farmer's fair. He's completely handmade (including his glasses (made of keyrings, wire, craft foam and ribbon), his wand (paper and hot glue), his crest (hand painted fabric) and his Fantastic beasts and Where to Find Them textbook (sculpy clay). He came in 3rd in the handmade doll competition at the fair!

2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / (acetate) papercraft rupee on: January 14, 2008 12:06:01 AM
I hope I'm posting this in the right place.

When I made my costume from TLoZ: Wind Waker, I decided to make a prop rupee (the money used in The Legend of Zelda video game series) but I couldn't find a paper craft template for it, so I made my own. When I made my rupee though, I cut two patterns out of blue and yellow acetate paper, glued them together at the tabs to create green (since I couldn't find green anywhere), then folded it up and glued the rupee together. I used hotglue.

Here's the finished product:

And here's the template I created:
