Wow, I'm not even done my first house, and looking at the design of that makes me want to build my next one from scratch. So lovely!

I think I might need that recipe, icekibby....  Cheesy

I got this recipe from My Froggy Stuff.
1 tablespoon corn starch
2 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon water

Mix and then microwave 20 seconds, knead until cool and smooth.

Notes: I found that it needed more water so it wasn't crumbly. Add by drips, mix, test. I did a double batch, and microwaved about 30 seconds as I recall. Not sure if it matters or not.

Wow, that's a ton of stuff, icekibby!  Is that a Mandrake?

I've got this package all ready to go, and I'm already thinking of more things to make for the next batch. Smiley I really should work on my own little house some. It needs the rooms all finished and set up properly, and the terrace to be made, and the rooftop extra room to be made too. I feel bad, the kitchen is just a jumble of random things that I haven't put in place yet. Le sigh.

I've been making some miniatures to swap with a friend from the ATC site I usually haunt. I used a lot of different things to make these, including a new recipe for baking soda and corn starch clay that worked really well for food items and the bee skep. We're planning another swap for December, so it'll be ongoing.

At the risk of getting smacked by a mod for promotion, anyone who's asked about my BoS pages that will be for sale as downloads etc, just keep an eye on my blog at http://www.icekat.com. I'll try to remember to notify you directly once my poop is in a group, but until then I post everything there for sure. I'm still working out kinks on the site dedicated to digital downloads for journals and custom crafting pages.

Oh, but I did love everything, and you put so much love and intent into everything! With magicky things, that's what it's all about.

Okay, finally got my butt in gear. I've been exhausted this week. Dunno if it's the heat and humidity, or if my body is fighting something off. Anyhoozle, here is the awesome package from Sabertooth Pixie, described above.

I make my joints by looping a long stitch through buttons located on the outside of the leg or arm, through the body and through the opposite limb, another button, and back around a couple times. It requires a long needle and some patience, but it works well with these and many other dolls. When I'm sure it's secure, I make circles of the body fabric, slip stitch around the edge, and patiently pull it tight over each button to cover it. I love this method because no special materials are required, and it works great.

Side note: Anyone interested in Gerald B Gardner, a friend of the HPs of our temple, Ronald Hutton, has made a documentary. It's pretty interesting and also features their friend Phillip Heselton, whom I've met at their house once when he was visiting. So cool! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQbdXCoxC14

Yay! My package from Sabertooth Pixie arrived today, and it was so very thoughtful and perfect!

She sent me a Carnelian worry stone for confidence and courage, a lapis lazuli pendant that she wire wrapped--beautiful work, by the way! Some Black Cohosh flower essence--I've never used these, but will absolutely try it out. I think I'll carry it with me for when I'm feeling in need, and hopefully there will be some left by the time I have to go to court again. Amber incense--my fave! And some painted pages that I will be putting into my book this weekend.

I'll get some photos later when I can clear off my table to set things out nicely. I just wanted to let everyone know that my package was received and I'm sooo happy!

By the way, the package from Wulf looks really great! I love that stamp with the heart and Triquetra design, so pretty!
