105  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Unbearable Prunesquallor on: June 29, 2014 05:37:09 PM
A little Gormenghastian fan art; embroidery on printed fabric, approximately 5 inches high, for the nerd-along June Flash Mob.  My fictional hero and inspiration is Doctor Alfred Prunesquallor of Gormenghast, invented by Mervyn Peake. (see the Doctor as my avatar)     He pronounces the statement below after delivering Countess Gertrude of baby Titus, the 77th Earl and Heir of Gormenghast - surely the pinnacle of his career as Physician to the House of Groan!
