So, my stepmom is a big fan of Twilight, and I'm embroidering for Xmas this year, sooooo does anyone have any ideas? I've seen the movies but I'm thinking maybe there's a book quote or a particular motif? I'm considering imitating a book cover? Any other ideas? Good quotes? Thanks all!
I'm being Stevie Nicks! I like to be famous women- for the past couple years I was Joan of Arc and then Rosie the Riveter. I went through a phase this summer when I was telling my girlfriend I wanted to grow up to be Stevie Nicks, so my birthday a couple of weeks ago she bought me a tambourine!! I'm going to be outside so I'm wearing a long sleeved black shirt and a black suede jacket I have with silver buttons and really dramatic cuffs, possibly a lace scarf, along with either black skinny jeans and black boots or a mustard skirt with black lace I made for a dancehall girl costume with the same boots, a blonde wig with bangs, a black fringed shawl tied around my waist or worn around my shoulders, and the tambourine, which I just bought tons of ribbons for!
GatorWrangler's package was such a nice surprise in my day! The first thing I noticed was this adorable headband, which my best friend immediately pronounced "so you"! Sorry for the crap webcam photos, my digital camera is dead!
Then this adorable set of gauntlets/wristwarmers! I can't show two wrists at once, no timer option, but the happiest surprise was... can you tell my carpal tunnel brace is under this???
These little wrist cuffs are totally cute- I love the corset-like closing! Two in black with pink and red hearts (to go with the headband?) and two that match the wristwarmers- I'm so spoiled!
Last but not least- this adorable pouch (which I already used to take makeup on a weekend trip!) filled with tea!!
Signed up last night- my first swap, so exciting! I have wrist pain related to carpal tunnel syndrome (yes, i wear a snazzy [ugly] brace at times), supraventricular tachycardia (annoying and scary but thankfully not damaging), and ADHD (hyperactivity, anxiety, forgetfulness, short attention span and raging insomnia).
I'm so looking forward to crafting to help someone feel better!
