Smooth Sumac?  Thank you!  I didn't even know they had a non-hairy version.  Interesting...

your welcome. Smooth sumac is everywhere here in wisconsin. I am constantly battling it on the prairie restorations I am working on, it is very prolific and invasive. I do love your picture of it though!! Grin

1293  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Summer Reading Swap-Signups:Closed; Sendouts:7/30 on: July 10, 2008 03:59:36 PM
Thanks for all the advice. I had a bunch of books in my cart at half.com, but I got turned off by the 3.99 per book shipping costs- but that was before I checked all of my local resources. So, I guess I will give that a try again.

Thanks everyone!!

I went to every thrift shop in town and I only found one book for hngoodlett. I was seriously disappointed. Now I am going to have to find alternate means of procuring books. Has any one bought used books on-line? Any recommendations on sites would be great!!

I sent! My package was 5lbs 3 oz! I had to put it all in a bigger package, usually I use one of those regular flat rate boxes...it wouldn't fit! I hope its liked!

Holy Cow! that is a big package (that's what she said). I can't wait to see everything!

I love how squishy it is. It suprised me, because I thought it was made out of polymer clay at first.

Thanks again!!

Now that I got my camera working and a sunny day to take pictures, I can finally post pictures of the wonderful swap packages I've received.

From animegirlie I received three boxes. The first had wonderful fabric covered bobby pins

The second had button magnets that were slightly damaged in shipping. I still need to glue them back together, but they will go wonderfully with the other magnets I received in the button swap!! Oh, and there was also a crocheted flower in this box

The last package contained wonderful homemade pendants. The one on the right is made from a button and the one on the left is made from some soft foamy golden material. I can't really tell what it is, but I love it!!

From catpants I received a wonderful knitted grocery tote. I love the colors and how stretchy it is. The second picture shows the bag with a container of juice in it. I also love that it has a draw string type thing.

And finally from pinupmommy I received a plethora of homemade bags.

I loved the strawberry fabric, so here is a close up( it is more yellow looking in real life)

Pinupmommy also included a wallet. I love the different stitches.

Thank you so much ladies!
