1  summer dress - first post in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by urssa on: June 30, 2008 05:09:04 PM
This is my first post and apparently I'm only allowed to post links. Will try to post more instead of just drooling over what everyone else has made Smiley
Well, I had this huuuuge weird apron-dress thing that I got from my granny and I made a dress from it. No pattern, just a lot of pinning and repositioning the darts. First I wanted to make buttons all the way down to the hem, but I gave up when making the first buttonhole, so I just sewed the rest of the front together. Just enough space to squeeze myself into it without a zipper or buttons Smiley
Hope you like it, I do.

and the neckline:

In all my excitement, I forgot to snip the threads, sorry.
I'm wearing it tomorrow for a girls' day out  Smiley
