1  Has anyone used Dylon fabric colour stripper? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by Perfect Doak on: March 30, 2005 12:40:40 PM
This one...

It says it strips up to 2.5kg of fabric in one go, but I only want to strip one small skirt! (It's red, want to dye it black but don't want it to go burgundy.) So I don't think I need to use anywhere near the whole packet.

But... the instructions say 'the full contents of the box must always be used'. Does anyone know why this is? Do the chemicals start reacting with the air once it's opened or something or do dylon just want to sell more product?
