Thanks Ladies! And Congrats to Calazaba and Pishaw13 too!

LovelyMiss - Once again it is diet time and I am being tormented by the scrumptious food on this board. To be fair, it is always diet time though.  Tongue I have a weakness for potaotes so that is what is making me drool! Love that Kraken shirt. Especially that bright green color of the ship.
Bunny1Kenobi - Beautiful card for the hubby. You can never tell someone you love them enough.  Smiley

My Team captain is back so I have to show her I was working while she was away and not just... well working, you know how jobs get in the way.  Roll Eyes

Project Name: Glorified Grahams
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: The ladies at my work head a fund raiser for Children's Cancer research. They put out an email asking for people to donate snacks and deserts. I made Gloried Grahams. They are simple and oh so good!  This was my first time caramelizing anything. At least I think it was. Some turned out better than others but they were all a hit.  Grin I made about 40 bags with 4 grahams in each.
10-12 whole graham crackers (break apart)
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup ground nuts (I used pecans, ground in coffee grinder)
Line a 15X10 baking sheet (I have disposable aluminum pans I reuse) with graham crackers.
In saucepan, bring butter and sugar to a boil; boil for 2 minutes.  Remove from heat, stir in nuts.
Spoon over graham crackers.  Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes.  Remove from pan on to foil.
Cool and break apart.

Sammylouise40 – cool effect with the ATC and such a great and inspiring place!
CraftADDchick – Very pretty cards. Love the writing. Awesome PB & Avengers shirts!
Roler – Adorable bat. He has such charm. Looks like you have the TM bug! That Bee is so cute but the knight takes the cake. He is beyond cute! Love him! And I agree, that cat is cute too.
Ludi – YAY FOR CATS!!! That embroidery is absolutely beautiful!
Calabaza – Very pretty dress. I keep meaning to alter, fix, adjust clothes & I never do.  The paper cut card is wonderful too! Very personal and sweet.
Pishaw13 – LOVE that floor. I always wanted my own house so I could do things like that but now that I have one I am chicken. I can’t even convince myself to paint a focus wall in the bathroom. Tongue I am so jealous of you. You are really going for it!
Inselaeffen – Eeks! Love that jellyfish! It looks like you had a fun day at the park too.
ArtsyCandice – what a fun, bright and summery necklace!
FreakieGeekie – That cute mark (what I can see) is adorable. Can you post a pic of the whole thing?
Crazyda79 – Nice lettering. My aunt is a Brenda too!

I had a super hectic week and weekend of house sitting and taking care of two sick people (hubby & step-son) but I managed to work on one of Bunny1Kenobi's. It turned out... eh. I am going to clean it up some tomorrow. I think it will work once I do that - hopefully.  Wink
This week should be a lot less stressful and demanding once I make it thru today.  Grin

I need advice- Atter 3 days of sanding, scraping, and pounding, I've got my floor to "beauty base zero" The problem is, it's very damaged from the linoleum. I'm thinking about staining the whole floor, but then painting a large white diamond pattern print over the whole thing. Does anyone have any opinion on this? I'm nervous about taking a risk and having it not pay off (since I took a risk with the wall color and don't love it). My other options are- just staining the floor, painting the floor, painting and adding a stencil to the floor, or just coating the floor in polyurethane and adding an area rug. I know it's hard  to weigh in without seeing it, but if you were faced with a similar dilemma what would you do?
Keep in mind this is a starter home and I intend on renting it in a few years.

This may be crazy extra work but I saw on a home improvement type show. They painted the floor (I think they use light blue) and then lightly sanded that to show the grain and stuff below and polyurethaned over it all. That way once the paint got scratched it was still a uniformed look. It was kind of rustic but really cool.

FreakieGeekie _ I think that is sort of a cheat. Chihuahua's aren't really dogs. LOL! Just kidding. Your max is adorable and I am sure he loves his ball. He looked proud of it.
Crazyday79 - I love that Tin Man puzzle piece. That is my favorite altered puzzle piece I have ever seen!
 ArtsyCandice - Wonderful caricatures!
Ludi - I love that. I am so jealous right now. SO JEALOUS!!!!

One of my partners knows exactly what I am sending and the other knows one thing. I have no idea what they are making me, which is how I like it. I love surprises!!! Can't wait.  Grin
