I'm going to post up really quick before the month ends and I miss out. I'll come back to comment on all the new amazing stuff that has been posted!

Prompt:  September Mad Hatter Day
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Catnip Toys
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: Im pretty sure the Mad Matter would have had some catnip tea at the Tea Party to attract the Cheshire Cat. I made five of these little catnip filled toys for my cats but only managed to get a shot of two since they kept stealing them. I made two purple, two yellow and a green one. The green one disappeared before it even hit the floor! I included some shots of my kits playing with them.

112  Stewie and Walking Dead Bibs for Fun Parents in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by gozer on: September 29, 2015 05:54:32 AM
I made these two bibs with the hope that my friend would have a good sense of humor about them. She did. LOL!
Every time I see Stewie I think of him saying Mommy, Mom, Mama, Mommy, Mommy, Mom, over and over again. I made this bib with my friend. We had a sewing day so she could learn to sew a little. The bibs and burp clothes are so easy I thought they would be a great start.
The Stewie bib and burp cloth have a super soft snuggly flannel for the backing and an extra layer of 100 cotton inside for absorbency.

And here is the Walking Dead bib because I think babies can look a tad like zombies while they eat. Tongue LOL! It had a soft gray minky fabric with stars imprinted into it for the backing.

Thanks for looking (and having a sense of humor with them).

Project Name: Cat Bookmark
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I made this little bookmark for the bookmark swap that is currently wrapping up. The kitties paws hang over the book page so he peeks out the top. It actually took me a little bit more than 30 minutes but I was constantly being interrupted by my new kitten who has not experienced me drawing yet. She found it quite fun to try to grab the marker as I was using it.  Tongue

115  Mermaid and Woodland Animal Bib & Burp Cloths in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by gozer on: September 08, 2015 11:25:14 AM
Ill be honest, I didnt even know this board existed! Tongue Tell me if I am on the wrong board but I figured this would work here since kids wear bibs???  Huh I dont have any kids or young ones in my family but I made these bib and burp cloth sets as a gift to my ex-BILs gf. I thought they would be a nice gift and I was dying to try out my KAM snap pliers. Ill probably end up making her some more stuff so I am going to check out this board for ideas! Cheesy
I used a very soft and absorbent gray fabric for the backing. It has pretty little stars on it. I figured gray would work for both fabrics and not be overly girly.
I couldnt help but get super girly with the pink mermaid set. I bought this fabric a while ago when I first saw it because it was so cute but had no idea what to make out of it. I think the bib worked out perfect. Both burb cloths are 10X18. I hope she likes them. I plan to make her a couple more sets as well.

 Thanks for checking them out!

You are so lucky Ludi! I decided to do a little project on Sunday and this is what happened at my house. I took this pic to send to Bunny1kenobi.

This is what it's like when I try to cut a pattern out too.  Tongue I need some cat training tips. Ha!
And I love the way you added that touch to your floor. It really makes it pop. Amazing job on the kitchen!

119  Re: Setting the Miniature Scene - Gallery in The Swap Gallery by gozer on: August 18, 2015 05:12:39 PM
Ever have one of those days? I got this amazing angel package from kbrison yesterday but it was too dark to get pics outside when I opened it. Then today everything is going wrong. My computer had to do updates, then it died, and my new kittens have erased the post twice. Okay... here we go again. LOL!
First up is this amazing garden tressel. I think that is what they are called. It's amazing! It looks so perfect with the bench and birdbath that PerfectlyBohemian sent me so I put it in the background. They are going to make an incredible scene! Kbriso also sent the bronze pots as well.

Here is a shot of the shovel she sent me propped up on the bench. It's made out of aluminum and is so cool!

I was sent five of the pots/vases. Here is a group shot. I need to find something to put in them, little flower blooms perhaps.

Here are some incredible extras. A set of trees, a super cool scarecrow and an awesome wheel barrel.

sorry this pic is sideways. I couldn't flip it. These are truly cool. They are made of aluminum as well. I flipped the last one over so you could see. I think they are made out of drink cans. How cool?! I have plans for them already.  Wink

And last but not least a gardening magazine with packets of seeds.

The book opens and has text on each page!

I got my angel package from kbrison yesterday but it was too dark out to take pics so I did it today. She sent me an amazing package and I wanted to tell her thank you so much for taking the time to do this. Angels really save the day with some swaps and I appreciate them all so much!
She sent me this amazing garden tressel and the bronze pots. The bench and bird house are what I got from PerfectlyBohemian. They just went along so well together.

 She sent me 5 vase/pots.

These adorable extras - trees, an awesome scarecrow and a wheel barrel

Here is a shot of the awesome shovel leaning on the bench. The size is perfect. Its metal too!
