1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: Photo Cup Wraps on: March 17, 2009 12:12:27 PM
Would it work if you laminated the wraps, so that way they could be reusable for future events?

Ooooh! That is a great idea!

I guess it depends what kind of cup you were using. The plastic cup (which is what I had on hand for the pics) would prob sweat a lot, but when I did it with paper cups it wasn't as much of a problem.

Thanks! This would work well for family get togethers. Better than the namewritteninsharpie method my fam uses.

I was trying to come up with a photo project for St. Patrick's Day, but really this could work for any occasion. It's a fun way to decorate for a party and help your guests keep track of their drinks.

You just need photos of all your guests and the cup wrap template that you can download here.

They are pretty easy to make. Use the template to cut the cup wrap shape out of your photos...

... and then tape the photo wrap to the cups.

The wraps wouldn't even have to be of people, you could use photos that match your party theme.
5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: Candy Bar Cozies on: February 09, 2009 01:36:28 PM
that's really neat, have you ever stitched in an address/name and sent them to anyone?? it would be a nice surprise to send a letter like that to one of your closest friends!! Smiley

That is a really great idea! I wonder if the post office would deliver it. They are so particular about what can be mailed. Even if you just made it look like a real letter envelope with a stitched on stamp and everything, that would be cool just for handing out. Hmmmm.

Thanks! I'm glad you like them!
7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Valentine's Day Lollipops on: February 06, 2009 12:03:09 PM

I created this project for work and it's pretty easy.

You just download the pdf template, print it out, cut out the hearts and fold them over the lollipops.

There is a version with Valentines messages and a version where you can add your own photo to personalize the lollipops. They are fun to hand out to friends on Valentine's Day.

The project page where you can download the templates and see step by step instructions is here

I designed these little Valentines cards for work and you can go and download the pdf and print them out for yourself!

They would be fun to hide around the house, leave on your coworkers desktop or send to school with the kiddies.

The pdf is here.

I designed these for work as a New Years project. It's pretty easy, just download the pdf's, print them out, cut down the middle and use a bulldog clip to hold a stack together.

I did a cute and a modern version.

You can download the pdf's here

I made a bunch and gave them to my friends for the holidays with their other gifties.
10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Photo Drink Umbrellas on: August 05, 2008 07:22:56 AM

This is a fun project if you are having a summer party and want to jazz up your drinks.

Cut a photo you like into a circle and then snip a slice from the edge to the center of the circle.

Fold the two edges over one another to create a cone. Tape the inside edge and glue the outside edge down with a glue stick.

Stick a little ball of poster putty inside the cone to hold the stick in. I cut wooden skewers in half to make the sticks.

You can make several umbrellas out of different photos so your friends can tell which drink is theirs!

If you want to see more detailed instructions go to the Kodak Tips & Projects Center page...
