1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Paisley Mini-Dress on: July 09, 2009 11:10:13 PM

I made it from an bed sheet I had that didn't fit my mattress and gold ribbon.

I got the idea for it from www.burdastyle.com, but I try as I might I can't find the link to it. I didn't download the patter, I just saw this picture and made my own from there and changed it a little:

What do you guys think?
2  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Betsey Johnson Tea Party Dress on: June 04, 2009 01:27:28 PM
I have been in love with Betsey Johnson's Tea Party Dress for so long, but could never justify spending $400 on it. Soooo, I made it.
It would have cost me $40 to make, but I had a gift card to Joann so it was free!

And with me in it:

I haven't sewn on the back part of the skirt portion yet, because I'm trying to think of the best way to deal with the sash. Sew it directly on to the dress, or leave it separate?

Comments appreciated!
3  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Plague Doctor and Victim on: June 02, 2009 05:04:50 PM

I modeled the mask off of a gas mask, using cast material and acrylic paint. The glasses are leather, and the inside has foam padding. I also made the dress and the rest of his costume. Pretty much everything other than the necklace and the incense holder. Lots of makeup on me to make me look ill, it looked good in person, in the photos kinda like I am bruised.

We had so much fun dressed up there, even though only a couple of people knew what we were supposed to be. Most people thought we were Spy vs. Spy and a Crack Head.

4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Unique Coloring Book for a Little Girl on: December 15, 2008 08:41:41 AM
I made this for my little cousin for Christmas:

Last name is blacked out

There are pictures of her (on halloween, dressed up, etc), her new puppy, her family, etc.

I just ran them through an online photo filter and then went through and touched them all up with marker for spots that came out too light.

I think she'll like it, What do you all think?
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Snow White Neckwarmer with Crystal Snowflake Brooch on: December 10, 2008 08:30:16 PM
I made this for my aunt for Christmas. It didn't take very long, but the yarn was a little difficult to work with because the fuzziness made it a little difficult to see at times. I used a lace pattern but thicker yarn so it didn't lose warmth. I got the brooch on Etsy from JewelrybyVicki (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5766105)

6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Very Tiny Stocking for Very Tiny Gifts on: December 10, 2008 08:22:31 PM
I had leftover fabric after I made Christmas stockings for my boyfriend and myself, so I turned some of it into catnip toys, some into a little drawstring pouch, and some into little tiny stockings like this:

I'm going to put little gifts into them.

Or maybe I'll put one filled with a little gift into my boyfriend's big stocking for irony. ^_^
7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Cute Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer (The Movie!) Pillows on: December 10, 2008 08:19:07 PM
I found this awesome fabric the other day. It was meant to be folded and sewn into a book, but I thought pillows would be way better. The way that they are printed makes it so that each side has a different part of the story when I sew them up.

What do you think?
8  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Underwater Fire Conjuring Naked Lady Guitar Pickguard (Warning: Boobs!) on: December 10, 2008 08:14:01 PM
I made this for my younger brother for Christmas. He has multiple guitars and I thought that he would really like something like this. So I combined things he likes: Naked and big boobed women, guitars, and weed. (Underwater pot plants? If she can throw fire underwater, why not?) Smiley

Hope I didn't offend anybody!
9  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Swirly Hanging Monster Ferret Bed (from tabooCREATIONS tutorial)! on: December 10, 2008 08:00:23 PM
I made this for my boyfriend's sister for Christmas since she had mentioned that she wanted to get some cool stuff for her ferret's cage. I followed tabooCREATIONS 's tutorial (here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=225098.0) and made a few changes, mostly to make it easier on myself, and I made it a little smaller because her ferret is delicate little lady ferret.

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Cute Pillow Case to Ruffley Skirt on: November 30, 2008 10:14:09 AM

I saw this pillowcase at Goodwill a few months ago and I loved the print on it. I finally got around to doing something with it. I think it turned out cute, what do you guys think?
