1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Sanitary Stasher on: March 28, 2008 06:25:27 AM
Ooooh..  The wheels are spinning in my head...

I do cloth and need a "Safe" place to stash my clean pads and tampons... This just might be it! I have a purse pattern that I was going to make up for them, but I think this is better.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / I want to make a "Stunt Double" on: March 06, 2008 10:51:48 AM
I would like to make a duplicate for me (and for my daughter as well), but I have no idea how to go about it.  I have heard of people doing duct tape doubles of themselves, but I have no idea how to begin it. Does anyone know of a link or website that has how to do this?

Is there anyway to make them more "play-able"?  My daughter (5) wants me to make her one and I just keep putting it off because I can see her little brother (1) getting a hold of it and shredding it!  Any suggestions?

Did you use crochet thread? It's pretty strong. Definitely not something for a child to play with though.

for my 10 month old.  I just found this section, so I hope someone can help.  I want to make my kids matching outfits that will last them through the winter into the spring.  I have the peasant shirt for my daughter, but I want to make a raglan shirt for my son.  Any ideas how to do this?  I was really hoping for a tute, but I can't seem to find one.

The dragonfly is knit.  I have a yellow tank top to cut up as the sleeves.

I have my DDs already cut out and half way together. I just need to fix my serger in the morning so I can finish hers up.

Thanks for the help!

Its fantastic, and I am very inspired by you.  I would love to know how exatly you did this. Any chance or a rough tute the next time you make one??  I am struggling with my DS's.  He's in a 12 month shirt, but I just can't seem to figure out how to make a raglan sleeved pattern out of a regular sleeved shirt!  So frustrating!

How did you do that?  They look just like pull-ups!!!  I want to make some of those for my DD.  I have used the trainers pattern from Easter Bunz and I just don't care for it. She says it looks too much like a diaper for her taste!

A bit of an explanation of what you used would be very helpful!!!
