1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Sewing Question - Visible, loose stitches on: September 23, 2007 09:15:06 AM
Apologies if this is the wrong place to post.

I'm pretty new to plushies and such, and finding after I've finished you can see some of the stitches and they're kind of loose.

I'm probably not using the right stitch, I use the machine default (------) and the... zig zag one ?! ( /\/\/\/\ )

I'm planning to make my friends something for Christmas, (which may or may not be a good idea...) and it would spoil it if you could see the stitching.

Any advice, do I need to turn up the tension (is that the word?) or change my stitch? Perhaps handsewing would work better?

Thank you so much for putting up with my awful vocab. and lack of information. Comments highly appreciated.
