Hi! I started learning how to knit a few months ago and have made several items on straight needles. But now I'm trying circular needles and am completely stumped! I'm trying to knit a pair of armwarmers and it just seems that the needles are way too long. The pattern calls for 12 inch size 7 needles and they are 25 stitches around. I just don't get how this is supposed to work! lol!
I tried looking for videos on Youtube but all of them showed something with considerably more stitches being made which looks a lot easier. I'm pretty sure I understand how working on circular needles is done. It's just not working out for me because there are so few stitches to move around such a long length of needle.
Can anyone offer any advice?
