10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Tracing Pattern Darts on: October 23, 2007 04:02:47 PM
I'm a newbie working on Simplicity 3673 for a friend's Halloween costume.

It's got three darts on each of the four skirt panels, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to trace the lines on the pattern to the fabric without ruining the pattern for future use. I was using the back edge of my marking pencil, but that was tearing the pattern a bit.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
