Okay so I found this and wanted to suprise my boyfriend by taking one of our pictures of us kissing and turning it into a stencil to spray paint onto a wall where we have gone together for romantic times.
I would be soooo freakin appreciative for any advice on how to go about this! Thanks oddles!

2  Fairy tribal belly dance costume in Costumes: Completed Projects by Sayomi on: September 27, 2007 11:59:27 AM
This was a fun costume to make, I created the designs myself by altering a few different patterns. Oh, and I stole the wings from a doll I found at a tag sale...lol

3  Industrial gothic institutional themed club costume in Costumes: Completed Projects by Sayomi on: September 27, 2007 11:57:05 AM
This was one of my first cyber-esque projects and it took a week of obsessing sewing to complete on time to attend a gothic ball. Vinyl has become my new obstacle, its quite the stubborn fabric to work with!!

4  Alice in wonderland (encounter with the catepillar) loli-style skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Sayomi on: August 23, 2007 12:20:03 PM
I am so thrilled with myself, I have finally gotten to the point as a newbie seamttress, that I can make my favorite style of lolita skirt! I am quite different from most lolis, as I endeavor to utilize reconstructed materials, and I am thrifty on purpose...*gasp*
I used material from a curtain, a flannel sheet which I dyed a beige with tea, and trim I found for an astoundingly low price at my local flea market.
I copied the alice in wonderland design from a shirt I also purchased from the flea market (future project will include 2 alice in wonderland shirts) It is hand-stiched, and it was quite hard and time-consuming! I will also be adding the catepillar's notable line, "Who are you?" along the top waistline with red or black fabric paint. And if I can find any further patience will be embroidering on other notable quotes from Alice's encounter with the catepiller.

So my second collection attempt at more novelty kanzashi, I used some real stones in some of them. (Hey I figured I should make usage of the bag of semi-precious stones my ex brought me)
