I started these at about midnight last night to use in a discovery presentation in my daughter's class this morning. I had planned to make a whole bunch of food, (veggies, fruits, desserts, breads, pasta, etc.) to show the kids and then give them to my 10-month-old for toys. But I procrastinated too long and then wouldn't you know it, got slammed with work and so only had time to do a few, hurried pieces.
The 4th graders still loved it, even the boys. I showed them how to make their own versions out of construction paper and they had a good time. And it's rekindled my interest so this weekend has been declared Felt Food O-Rama!
Anyway, here it is...
Pizza - the green peppers photographed kind of brown, it's much more colorful in real life:
And the cakes my daughters made last year when they were ages 6 and 8 using the tutorial from fellow craftster, aoi. Thanks! (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=26836.0
