Title: Quidditch Shirt - Image heavy (First Post)
Post by: Machaine on May 15, 2006 01:00:07 PM
I made this as a last minute Halloween costume two years ago. I'm a sub at an elementary school and I worked on Halloween - therefore needed a kid-friendly costume... and besides, Quidditch and the Weasley's are pretty darn cool.

Very nice! I think I would wear it all the time, not just on Halloween. ;)

I'm in love with this shirt I would wear it all the time not just on halloween. Did you use any particular brand of iron on transfer? It turned out really vibrant.

Thanks everyone for your kind words!

I don't remember which paper I used specifically, it was whatever dark transfer paper they sold at Walmart at the time. It might have been the Avery brand, but I'm not too sure.

I've used Avery with pretty good results.  I did get a bad pack of it once though.  The images always peeled off with the paper...it was bad, but I think it was an isolated incident.
