Title: Proto-Yarn
Post by: Belladune on August 14, 2018 06:22:22 PM
1- LOTS of something beautiful! Natural brown, from a sheep in Alberta. Much proto-yarn (aka Batts)

2- Many bouncy, silky confetti proto-yarns (again, batts).  Polwarth and silk

3- Rainbow proto-yarn! (batts) Polwarth

Wow! I'm sitting outside the yarn shop right this minute waiting for it to open up. Your post is an awesome appetizer, everything looks super yummy!

Thanks Kittykill!

Heh, funny you know I didn't just go in there to look :D.

Sock yarn, it comes with 2 identical balls so both socks will turn out exactly the same. & a circular needle so I can do them toe up two at a time. The first time I knit socks. Or anything. Mmmhmm, I'm crazy like that.

I might make one upside down so they are reverse of each other. I don't know why I bothered to buy this yarn, I like asymmetry!

Since you bought 2 balls,  can you just pull from the opposite end of the skein? Instead of one toe-up, and one band-down? One center pull, the other outside- in?

Yay for fiber!

Well, if you walk into a yarn store you always certainly come out with yarn.  It's inevitable!
That's some fun yarn! I'd probably also knit from opposite ends. Because I have a hard time with symmetry too.
