Title: Happy Independence Dog!

I couldn't resist making Delia an Independence Day Collar Cozy for this year's July 4th. The reverse side is some galaxy print that I had in stash.

She's pretty distracted by the local squirrel and chipmunk activity these days, so hopefully she'll forget about that mystery poop that's out there somewhere.  ???  She just randomly rolls in it, focusing on her neck area. Bless her gross little dog heart.  :P

UPDATE: New action shot taken today during Second Fetch.

Oh Delia!  You're gross.  And adorable.  And wonderful.  Just like all dogs.

My SIL, her husband, and 2 teenage kids stayed with us Saturday night, on their way from IL to the Gulf coast.  Astrid was over the moon excited to see them, and couldn't stop cuddling with the kids.  Then randomly she threw up a big wad of grass all over the couch and was upset when we pulled her away from eating it.  Dogs are gross!

But I love them so much....

Meanwhile, your collar is adorable, and quite festive.  :D

Gross as dogs are, they're not really any more gross than people, just differently gross and more evenly distributed across their lifespan!  :P

Super cute fabric!

I thought so, too! I even made Dale the jackalope a bow tie out of it.

I'm glad you added the second shot so we could see her beautiful face. The collar is very cool and nicely done.

Delia is camera shy so it's hard to get a photo of her face unless she's focused on something intently... in this case BALL! Thanks!

I want to pet that pup!

Delia LOVES people and would definitely accept pets and, let's be honest, she would try to make out with you!

... OK - since it has red/white/blue popsicles on it - I really hope that means she gets to eat some too!

Of course! We still have a few of these pupcicles (https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=455109.0) in our freezer! We just got summer weather for reals over the last couple of days.

What a lucky puppy!!!  I may have to make some of these for Troy too!  He would LOVE doggie ice cream or popsicles!!!  Also - those are ALL ingredients he loves!!!!

I have not had a whole banana to myself at home in years :(

Or a whole PB sandwich either...

I love that fabric! The collar really pops against her dark coat.
