Title: Cake Shoes
Post by: Franki3Moon on October 01, 2017 12:44:54 PM
My niece fell in love with the cake shoes that you see online, and if you've noticed these shoes are not cheap. So her mom asked if I could try and make some for her bday.. This was the end product, sorry didn't take side shots, but I think it turned out pretty good..

Adorable!!  What did you use to create the cake effect?

I had to look up cake shoes, they are so very awesome! You did a great job, I'll bet your niece is thrilled with them.

Thanks guys, my neice loved them.. As for the material I used was fast dry acrylic latex caulk plus silicone in white. You can buy it at Walmart for around $3 its the DAP brand. My sister n law says she runs and plays in them all the time and they are holding up great.. And yea they are more icecream style then cake  ;)
