Title: Quaker Easter Egg
Post by: Helena Puck on April 16, 2017 11:01:20 PM
I finally get to share this and on Easter no less!  8)

I stitched this one for the Easter basket swap. It is called Quaker Easter Egg by Bent Creek. I stitch it on evenweave which I just discovered I absolutely love and want to use for everything.

As you can tell in the picture, I took progress shots. I worked on it for four days straight. I love the little designs and shapes inside the egg, so simple while at the same time intricate once it is all put together. I like the mix of secular and religious. I plan to make one for myself too.

Isn't evenweave the best?  That looks fantastic!
