Looks great.  I used to make all kinds of bath and body goodies.  I hope to get back into it all some day.  :)

Nice!

I wouldn't say unrefined shea butter has a nasty smell, it's just very earthy. I use it in tons of products and just use essential oils that complement the earthiness. I think all the goodies in it that are stripped away in the refining process make it far superior to unrefined shea butter, which I won't use at all anymore. (it is nice for a pure white whipped shea butter, but not very "nutritious" for skin compared to unrefined, and skin loving goodness is the very reason I use shea butter.)

It is amazing how much lipbalm you can make for very little cost per container. It's buying all the ingredients that keeps me from doing it again. I had the left overs for so long that some of them went off and I still have lip balm in a pot in a fridge!

I did use shea, I don't mind the smell. I don't love the grainy texture it gets if it's heated too high too quickly though, I've had varying degrees of success with it. Even slowly melting in a double boiler seems to be too much.
