Title: What happened to Knitting Patterns Database app?
Post by: dustyfro on April 20, 2015 04:31:47 AM
I got this app earlier this year and it was amazing and worked offline, like when I was on the road.  Then I had to do a factory reset on my phone and all the apps were lost, and KPD isn't available on Google Play anymore!  There's the Stash2Go Ravelry app, but honestly, it's crap compared to KPD.  I can download the PDFs but not access them from the app.

Ah, this is what happened.  http://kpd.freeforums.net/thread/261/downloading-installing-kpd?page=1&scrollTo=959  A little jiggery-pokery and I'm back in business.

Well KPD stores everything on the device, and if the data is lost, everything is lost.

I developer the stash2go app, and if you let me know which of the things you are missing in my app, I can certainly plan to add things. If you are having issues with the app, please make sure to always contact me, because otherwise I can't modify the things you don't like. would be good to know which version on which device you used, maybe that is an outdated version

PS: stash2go does not store important things on the device, all aspects (incl. row counters per projects) are stored at ravelry servers (even if you use it offline on apple devices)
