Title: Rolo Tomassi Tee Recon
Post by: kawaiihelen on September 16, 2012 01:49:12 AM
My friend gave me a pile of his old band tshirts that he'd finally admitted were too small for him! I decided to try and girly a few of them up, but the Rolo Tomassi one turned out my fav so I thought I'd share :)

I basically chopped off both arms, made a lacey one for one side and gathered up the shoulder of the other with a bit of blue bias binding - simple and fun!

hope everyone is having busy crafting weekends too xx

Pretty.  I love that sort of asymmetry

The asymmetry suits the print of the shirt so well :)

after i chopped the sleeves off i opened the one out flat and used it as a template for the lace. far easier than you think!!

thanks for the comments :)

I love the idea of lace on the arms! Might have to do that with some of my old t-shirts as well...
