Title: Simple High Waisted Skirt + tutorial link
Post by: fluffybunnies on August 03, 2012 11:48:36 AM

Iíve been wanting to make more of my own clothes so Iíve been trying to think of things that will be fairly simple to make but still cute and fashionable! A simple pull on skirt is about as easy as it gets! I found this fabric in the remnants bin at Joann's so I think it cost me about $5 to make this skirt and took less than an hour! awesome!

I posted a tutorial on my blog if you're interested in how to make one: http://www.gleefulthings.com/blog/?p=4614 (http://www.gleefulthings.com/blog/?p=4614)

I love your fabric choice (and also your hair, it's beautiful!)

Thanks for the tutorial, I will probably try a longer version of your design, as my knees are best hidden  :D

I agree with Mrs. Kay, love the skirt and your hair. I would look at the tute, but even under the knee would not work with my veins. I also wanted to comment on how well the photos are composed. The background is stunning.

I never thought of using elastic around the waist that way - thank you for sharing your tutorial.  I love the fabric you chose (and your style).  Looking forward to seeing what else you create.
