Title: Paper Art Doll
Post by: simplyshereena on May 21, 2012 02:12:16 PM
I have recently been into paper dolls. :)

Here's one I made today!

I used this template (http://www.theenchantedgallery.com/template.html) to make her, and added some details. She's about 12 in. tall, and inspired by my original character, Crimson. :)

I didn't have any other way to "joint" her limbs together, so I just used thread. I'm hoping to buy some in the near future, I think they are called "brads" or something?

I hope everyone likes her! In the future, I am hoping to start up a paper doll swap. Let me know what you think. :D

Yes, they are called brads. Look in the scrapbooking section of art/craft store. If there isn't one near you, you can look in an office supply store for 'brass fasteners'.

She's cute and the thread adds interest, I think.

she's beautiful!  I love her face best, but her outfit is awesome.   :)  Thank you for the link; I want to try my hand at paper dolls.

Thanks, everyone! As soon as we get a few more people interested, we can plan a sign-up date. ^^

I have been reading the swap organizer tips and FAQ, so I think I'm ready to host this thing. But help is always a good thing. :D
