Title: covering binders
Post by: akitamom on March 24, 2011 03:07:27 PM
I am redoing my craft room. I have a bunch of those ugly vinyl covering loose leaf binders that hold my knitting & crocheting patterns. Any ideas how to cover them so they will look nice on the shelf?

Hi!  Considering it's for your craft room, why not make book covers out of linen and hand embroider names or images of what each binder holds?  Maybe even covers made out of some nice home dec fabrics that you've been dying to use?  Fabric paints for stamping on cotton duck?  Endless ideas...let me know what you decide!  And good luck!   ;)

Thanks, I was leaning towards fabric. I'll post pictures when they are done.
