Title: Glass magnets - petri dishes!
Post by: polgan on December 19, 2010 07:53:42 AM
I made these flat glass magnets for my boyfriend's SIL for Christmas. She's a microbiologist and will really enjoy these! I mounted them on a magnetic dry-erase board and labelled them so she'll know what's what, just in case. Images from www.giantmicrobes.com

Note: the unlabelled one on the bottom is HPV, I ruined the label and have to re-print it.

1. those magnets are awesome. it is such a great idea, and even if they are slightly disgusting IRL, the pictures are really fun and look great.

2. thank you so much for sharing that website! i've had really horrible recurring MRSA for the past year and sometimes it really gets to me, but the little MRSA plush is adorable and i think i'm going to buy him for myself  :D
