Title: Anyone in Lincolnshire?
Post by: BeccaJaneStClair on October 26, 2010 12:29:55 PM
Hey everyone,

I've not been active in ages, because I was involved in a cross-atlantic relationship that took up a lot of my time.  We got married on 5 November 2009, and I made my move to the UK in January 2010. Now that the dust has settled, I'd like to get back into crafting and was wondering if there was anyone in the area?  I live in a small village about 6 miles north of Lincoln called Dunholme. We have a Quilter's club, but it has closed membership. Booooo.

I'm also looking for craft stores in Lincoln!

Hi and welcome.

I'm in Nottinghamshire the next county across but I know Dunholme well. I grew up about 15 miles north of there.

I'm afraid I'm don't know Lincoln that well anymore so can't advise on craft shops.

There are lots of shops selling crafty and arty type things up the hill by the cathedral so asking in there might be worthwhile.

Be sure to visit the Christmas market.

Unfortunately, most of those shops either get the items brought in from outside Lincoln, or don't want to give you their sources :(

I'm moving to the east of Lincolnshire (near Skegness!) in a couple of weeks so if there are any crafters nearby I'd love to know :)
