Title: Recycled Denim Coaster
Post by: RecycleCindy on May 22, 2010 01:09:33 PM
Here is a denim coaster I made by using two hem strips from a pair of jeans. You cut the hems real close and glue it together.

What a terrific idea! I might have to make some of these seeing as I'm about to chop up a bunch of pairs of jeans ;D Did you use hot glue or super glue for it?

Saw this on your blog the other day and loved it! And now I'm seeing it here, I guess that means I need to get crafting some! I love that there is a way now to use that last little piece that is always leftover when using recycled denim.

Super clever! I really like the look of this. Might have to add it to my list of Chistmas gifts to make this year.

I used some fabric glue I had. It seems to be holding so far. Here is more info with a few more pictures of my recycled denim coaster project. http://www.myrecycledbags.com/2010/05/16/recycled-denim-coaster/

Fantastic idea! I never know what to do with my remaining scraps of fabric and feel bad just getting rid of them.

Ooh that is a really good idea! Might have to knock some up with some fabric scraps I have lying around...
